At 4167m Jebel Toubkal is not only the highest mountain in Morocco, it is also the highest mountain in North Africa. This spectacular trek winds its way through high mountain valleys and passes to arrive at the Toubkal base camp from where you will climb the three highest mountains in Morocco - Ras (4083m), Timzguida (4089m) and Toubkal (4167m).
Our 17-day Everest Base Camp trek has a fantastic mixture of high-altitude trekking and cultural exploration of the renowned Sherpa people. This trip also includes extra time in Kathmandu for sightseeing and a spare day at the end in case of bad weather or flight delays. It will definitely exceed your expectations in every way. With carefully attention to detail, the planned itinerary follows centuries old trails leading through the villages of Namche, Khumjung and the spectacular monastery at Tengboche. Ascending Kala Patthar, at 5643m, puts you at the centre of a spectacular 360-degree panorama of Everest and her siblings. The return route follows quieter trails and passes through villages that are seldom visited allowing you a further insight into local culture and presenting the opportunity to catch glimpses of rare Himalayan wildlife.

Located in Tanzania, just south of the equator, at 5895m Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain on the African continent. The Lemosho route starts to the west of Kilimanjaro and traverses the Shira plateau before climbing the Barranco wall and ascending to Uhuru Peak via Stella Point. The Lemosho route is one of the quieter routes on the mountain. Our 8 day itinerary allows plenty of time for acclimatization and has a very high success rate.

At 6476m Mera Peak is Nepal’s highest trekking peak. Overlooking the remote Hinku valley in the eastern Khumbu it commands spectacular 360-degree views, and you can see five of the worlds 14 8000m mountains including Mount Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu and Cho Oyu. The trek into Mera Peak takes you away from the crowds and leads you through some spectacular countryside before climbing up to the Mera La and whilst Mera Peak is a relatively high mountain, climbing it is straightforward. Mera Peak is ideal as an introduction to climbing in the Greater Ranges and as a first summit in Nepal. Our 23 day itinerary is designed to give you the best chance of summit success and is ideal for those wanting to add some adventure to their travels and who have some previous mountaineering experience which includes the competent use of ice axe and crampons. Anyone wishing to join this trip should have a good level of fitness.
