Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge


This challenging but extremely rewarding walk tackles the three highest peaks in Yorkshire.  Starting in Horton-in-Ribblesdale the traditional route first takes you up Pen-y-ghent (694m) followed by Whernside (736m) and finally Ingleborough (723m) before returning to Horton-in-Ribblesdale all in under 12 hours.  The route followed is approximately 25 miles and includes about 1600m of ascent.

Three Peaks Challenge


This is a great challenge which spans a total distance of about 26 miles with roughly 3000m of ascent all to be completed within 24 hours. The three peaks in question are Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales respectively.

Please note: Minimum group size for this trip to run is 6.


Lemosho Route


Located in Tanzania, just south of the equator, at 5895m Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain on the African continent.  The Lemosho route starts to the west of Kilimanjaro and traverses the Shira plateau before climbing the Barranco wall and ascending to Uhuru Peak via Stella Point.  The Lemosho route is one of the quieter routes on the mountain.  Our 8 day itinerary allows plenty of time for acclimatization - a key factor for avoiding altitude sickness - and has a very high success rate.

You will need 10 days in total for this trip.

 


Jebel Toubkal


At 4167m Jebel Toubkal is not only the highest mountain in Morocco, it is also the highest mountain in North Africa.  This spectacular trek winds its way through high mountain valleys and passes to arrive at the Toubkal base camp from where you will climb the three highest mountains in Morocco - Ras (4083m), Timzguida (4089m) and Toubkal (4167m).


Toubkal Winter


At 4167m Jebel Toubkal is not only the highest mountain in Morocco, it is also the highest mountain in North Africa.  This spectacular winter trek winds its way through high mountain valleys to arrive at the Toubkal base camp from where you will climb the three highest mountains in Morocco - Ras (4083m), Timzguida (4089m) and Toubkal (4167m).


Arctic Circle Trail


A fantastic 9 day trek following Greenland’s Arctic Circle Trail from Kangerlussuak to Sisimiut.  Whilst this is a guided trip, participant will need to be self-sufficient and able to carry everything required for a 9 day self-supported wilderness trek.  Daily distances are no greater than 13.5 miles (average day is 12 miles).

 

This trip needs a minimum of four people to run.  The cut off date is 20 April 2020 - if we haven't reached the minimum number the the trip will be cancelled.


Aconcagua


Aconcagua is the highest mountain outside of the Himalayas.  Located in Southern Argentina it is also the highest mountain in the Southern and Western hemispheres.  The Vacas Valley route starts in the North East and offers a traverse of the mountain, descending via the ‘normal’ or Horcones Valley route.  This 22 day itinerary allows plenty of time for acclimatization and offers a 3 day summit window.


14 Day Everest Base Camp Trek


This 14 day Everest Base Camp trek offers a great mixture of high altitude trekking and cultural exploration of the renowned Sherpa people. It is guaranteed to exceed your expectations in every way. Our carefully planned itinerary follows the busy trails that lead through the villages of Namche, Khumjung and the spectacular monastery at Tengboche.  As you ascend to Kala Patthar, which stands at a massive 5643m, you can enjoy the 360-degree panorama of Everest and her siblings.  The return route guides you along quieter trails and through villages that are seldom visited allowing you a further insight into local culture and presenting the opportunity to catch glimpses of rare Himalayan wildlife.


17 Day Everest Base Camp Trek


Our 17 day Everest Base Camp trek follows the same trek itinerary as the 14 day trek with a fantastic mixture of high altitude trekking and cultural exploration of the renowned Sherpa people.  This trip also includes extra time in Kathmandu for sightseeing and a spare day at the end in case of bad weather or flight delays.  It will definately exceed your expectations in every way.  With carefully attention to detail, the planned itinerary follows centuries old trails leading through the villages of Namche, Khumjung and the spectacular monastery at Tengboche.  Ascending Kala Patthar, at 5643m, puts you at the centre of a spectacular 360-degree panorama of Everest and her siblings.  The return route follows quieter trails and passes through villages that are seldom visited allowing you a further insight into local culture and presenting the opportunity to catch glimpses of rare Himalayan wildlife.
