Located in Tanzania, just south of the equator, at 5895m Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain on the African continent. The Lemosho route starts to the west of Kilimanjaro and traverses the Shira plateau before climbing the Barranco wall and ascending to Uhuru Peak via Stella Point. The Lemosho route is one of the quieter routes on the mountain. Our 8 day itinerary allows plenty of time for acclimatization - a key factor for avoiding altitude sickness - and has a very high success rate.
