The Poon Hill Trek is perfect for first time trekkers or families and great for people who want to experience the wonders of trekking in Nepal but who have limited time.
The highlights of this trek include watching the first rays of sun hit the Annapurnas from Poon Hill, exploring traditional mountain villages and trekking through the magnificent rhododendron forests.
Our 11 day itinerary includes a sightseeing trip in Kathmandu as well as the excellent but short Poon Hill trek and a day at leisure in Pokhara.

At 6476m Mera Peak is Nepal’s highest trekking peak. Overlooking the remote Hinku valley in the eastern Khumbu it commands spectacular 360-degree views, and you can see five of the worlds 14 8000m mountains including Mount Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu and Cho Oyu. The trek into Mera Peak takes you away from the crowds and leads you through some spectacular countryside before climbing up to the Mera La and whilst Mera Peak is a relatively high mountain, climbing it is straightforward. Mera Peak is ideal as an introduction to climbing in the Greater Ranges and as a first summit in Nepal. Our 23 day itinerary is designed to give you the best chance of summit success and is ideal for those wanting to add some adventure to their travels and who have some previous mountaineering experience which includes the competent use of ice axe and crampons. Anyone wishing to join this trip should have a good level of fitness.

Located in the far east of Nepal stradling the border with India, at 8586m Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world. Our Kanchenjunga Base Camp trek visits both the North and South Kanchenjunga Base Camps and passes through some superb scenery and rugged landscapes. The first stop is Pangpema, the north side base camp, which gives spectacular views of the north face of Kanchengunja followed by a visit to Ramche and views of the south side of Kanchenjunga. This is a remote and beautiful trek, considered by some to be the best trek in the world, and you are unlikely to encounter other trekkers. There’s a total of 20 days of trekking (2 of which are acclimatisation days) so anyone wishing to join this trip should have a good level of fitness.
